Marvellous Monday

Good morning everyone.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend, which in return has left you more than ready to tackle this week.
I had a not-so-good weekend.

The new medication I'm taking is making me very ill, and as we speak I'm waiting for the doctor's office to open so I can find out what to do.
How can you enjoy the weekend when your sick to your stomach?
I was robbed of my weekend and frankly I don't appreciate it.

Friday morning (before I started getting sick) the bestie and I had breakfast with Tammy (my pastor's wife).  We all had a wonderful time and she was able to help steer me back in the right direction.  There's just something about a fresh perspective that I appreciate.

As far as working out...didn't happen.  I was too sick.  Hopefully my strength will come back and I'll feel like my usual self very soon.  Not to mention that my home can't take much more neglect.

On another note, Nehemiah went fishing for the first time yesterday.  He did great, but the fish weren't biting.  The water was too high from all the rain we had over the past few weeks.

This concludes my very random Monday post.
Now it's back to bed I go.  I hate feeling yucky!

Misc. Monday-Mother's Day Weekend

Happy Monday everyone!
I know Mondays are hard
{Miah almost missed his bus this morning},
but the sun is shining and there's no rain in the forcast for the entire week, and this thrills me.

Now, let's talk about my weekend.

Friday & Saturday
My parent's took Nehemiah friday night, which allowed me to detox from my
 not-so-good-horrible-very-bad-week.
I made myself a lovely pasta dinner and camped out in front of the tv to watch this movie

via

It was an okay movie with some funny elements, but I felt it was very predictable.

After sleeping in {which was fantastic might I add} I decided to pamper myself a little.
I took a nice hot bath, did my eyebrows and my nails, and then enjoyed a big cup of coffee in my quiet house.  The quietness allowed me to re-group and pull myself together.
I really needed this.

Later in the day I grocery shopped without any pain in my legs :)
{reminder, due to the Fibro shopping is usually a very difficult task}
and then we headed over to my friend Lisa's house for dinner.

 Sunday
I woke up early to go to church with my mom.
Now ya'll remember that my mom attends the church I no longer attend, and I don't like visiting there.
It was Mother's Day, so I sucked it up and went with my mom without any complaints.
To my suprise, I actually had a nice time.
All my mom wanted for Mother's Day was to attend church with her daughters, and of course I delivered.
Nehemiah bought her a little something too, which was nice.

When I came home I got to open my Mother's Day gifts.
Let's remember that Nehemiah is only 4, and he didn't quite get that I bought the gift he picked out lol.
He was so excited when he saw this in the store...

He saw the zebra prints and it was a wrap, he knew his mama had to have it!
Plus he picked out a pink flower for my hair, which I wore to church.
Then I looked in his bookbag and found a little something.
He made me a craft of his two hands{which are in pink paper}.
Holding the hands apart, there's a strip of green paper and his teacher helped him write
"I love you so much."
I will probably keep this forever.
Nehemiah remembered that I love zebras, and that pink and green are my fav colors.
He did good!

Oh, and my mom got me a card {with a little suprise in it} that has a girl on the front wearing pink and white zebra stripes,
and she's drinking a cosmo.
She know's me so well!

I also forgot to mention that Lisa {I mentioned her above}got me Netflix for a year.
{now I can watch the first seasons of Gossip Girl!}
And because it was such a special day you know Mary and I chatted.
Tomorrow morning I'm taking Samantha out to breakfast because she spent her Mother's Day working.
I wouldn't be half the mom I am today without these strong ladies in my life.

I'm so blessed to have an amazing support system.

How did you spend Mother's Day?

Miscellaneous Monday

It's my first post after the A-Z challenge
and I'm so proud of myself that I made it.
I mentioned on Saturday that I'm trying out a blog schedule, so today is Miscellaneous Monday.
I have a lot to share so bare with me.

Friday Night
I did my usual routine, watching tv and reading.
Remember when I posted here that I had all those magazines to read?
Well I attempted to plow through my pile, and the first magazine I read was

This was a great read!
Seeing it was so wonderful I decided to share some stuff I learned.

1.) Eating deviled eggs is the answer to breaking strands
2.) corkscrews make ravishing curls
3.) applying gelatine makes hair folicles stronger
4.) applying cranberry juice to red hair replenishes the color
5.) applying crushed ibuprofen to the scalp gets rid of dandruff
6.) Palmolive dish soap removes buildup (you have to extra condition after using it)
7.) If you condition first and then shampoo, you'll reduce dryness
*before doing any of the above, read the magazine first to get the full details*

Here are some facts I learned:
1.) in the 20's African Americans used pure lye to straighten their hair
2.) in the 60's ladies used household appliances (such as irons) to straighten their hair
3.) 90's hair is definately back in
4.) 450 degrees fahrenheit is the highest temperature that hair heat tools can reach
(wow, right)
5.) hair products can break out your forehead

Saturday Night
My mom and dad took Nehemiah over night so me and the bestie decided to have a girl's night out.
I didn't want to go anywhere or do anything I would later have to repent for,
so we decided to try out a comedy club or a sports bar.
Well...apparently we don't have many comedy clubs within our radius,
so that idea was out.
We decided to get cute and try out the sports bars we found online.
OMG
Every place we attempted to try out was a bust.
After driving all over the place we decided it was time to come back home.
On the way home I made a discovery,
I have no identity outside of motherhood.

My bestie felt the same way.
When it comes to planning activities for our kids we have no issues finding things to do.
When we have a night away from our kids, we don't know what to do.
I missed Nehemiah, and my bestie missed her daughter.
Maybe we have these issues because we're single mothers.

So this poses the question,
How do I establish an identity that doesn't revolve around
runny noses, preschool, playdates, toys, and pillow pets???
I'm not saying I don't enjoy motherhood, I love being a mommy.
I just need to know how to start living a little bit of my life for me.
Does anyone understand?

Easy Like Sunday Morning…Or Sunday Evening Actually

I had pretty good weekend, which started Friday night.  I completed all my back work for accounting, and I learned that I’m no longer failing.  I have a C right now, but I still have a few more weeks to try to improve.  Trust me, I’m not complaining as I will take a C over failing any day!  My professor has been continually emailing me, and I think this makes me more driven to succeed.  I think I did much better than I expected on my midterm, but I won’t know until later in the week.  Nehemiah and I also had game night before I started in on the hw, and we played until his little brown eyes couldn’t stay open any longer!
As I mentioned on Friday, mom and I had a retreat to go on Saturday.  I was looking forward to the retreat because I had learned so much last year.  Well…um…this year I can’t say the same.  I didn’t bring home the tiny jewels that I had hoped to add to my spiritual treasure chest {nice huh}.  Plus, later that night my tummy started bothering me and I found out my mom had tummy {can you tell I’m a mommy lol} troubles too.
Sunday morning I did something I haven’t done since around October, I attended service at my old church.  And that’s all I’m going to say about that experience!  After church, Nehemiah and I came home and enjoyed one of our long Sunday afternoon naps.
Ahh, there’s nothing like sweet sleep.  I just love me some Sundays!
This hasn’t always been the case.  Sundays, or even the thought of Sundays, used to make me cringe.  It was because I knew what day followed, and that meant I had to go back to the place I didn’t enjoy; work.  Now that I’m home {due to the seizures}, I love me some Sunday evenings!  Nehemiah and I go to church, come home and nap, go to my parent’s house for some yummy dinner, and then we come back home.  Home is often my favorite part of the day.  I don’t clean, I don’t worry about laundry, and I don’t worry about homework.  I make a palate on the floor, or I sit in my comfy recliner and I just read.  Nehemiah is usually fast asleep, so I get the luxury of reading late into the night.
I sit and read for hours.  It’s during this time I usually finish my books.  It’s a nice way to end the weekend and to welcome the beginning of the week.  This time has saved my sanity.  There’s nothing like getting so involved in a book that you forget about reality.
I’m just saying; I love me some Sunday evenings!
And by the way, can you believe that 22 people actually care about what I have to say!
I’m lovin’ it!

Stay Sweet and Have a Great Week!!

Grammy

On Friday I woke up with a little tickle in my throat, and by nighttime that tickle turned into a full blown cough. Yep, I caught a cold. So my weekend consisted of sleeping, and then waking up to take cough/sinus meds. I still have the cough this morning, but it's nothing like it was a few days ago.
-----------
Yesterday marked the five year anniversary of my Grammy's death, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her. Typically this day is very hard for me and for the rest of my family, but this year was different. My family and I had a big dinner, and we laughed and celebrated life! My Grammy would have wanted us to be happy on this day, seeing this is the day she went to heaven. That's something to smile about.

My Grammy was the type of woman who lived what she preached. She loved Jesus with her entire being. She was the model example of what it means to live a Christian life. My Grammy's strongest attribute was her prayer life. She would spend hours making requests to God on behalf of other people! As a child, I remember hearing the passion in Grammy's voice as she talked to God. She was honest with God, and she went to Him boldly. This is the type of prayer life I long for!

I miss my Grammy a lot, and there are many days I wish I could go to her for advice. But one thing I learned from my Grammy is that I can go directly to God. I can tell Him how I'm feeling and what's concerning me.

I just need to work on making time for God, instead of squeezing Him in when it's convenient! This has really been a challenge for me. It seems there just aren't enough hours in the day.

How do you find time to spend quality time with God?

{By the way, if you read my blog regularly please make sure you're a follower!}

A Classic Case of the What-If’s

On Saturday night I was doing the usual, you know homework and checking Facebook. From time to time, I check out the selections Facebook offers on the people I may know, so on Saturday I decided to give it a look.

Oh boy, why didn't I just stick to the homework?!

There it was, in plain sight-my ex's profile picture; him and a girl.

For some unknown reason I just sat there, with my mouth hanging open, staring at the picture. And then it started happening, the classic case of the what-if's. What if this was his girlfriend? What if he lied to me and was seeing us both at the same time? What if he dumped me for her? What if he thinks she's prettier than me {clearly this is not even close to being true-I'm just sayin' J}? What if he lied about his job? These stupid questions kept coming to mind, and they plagued me for most of the night. So much so that I started to call him up and scream at him!

I wanted answers to my questions, and damn it I deserved to know the truth! All my logic was pushed aside. I was pissed off, and I needed to know who this chic was and if she was with my boyfriend ex. Luckily, logic alone wasn't enough for me to go off. I needed reinforcement. So I called one of my good friends.

And thank God for good friends who are there for you during your craziest moments. My friend understood how much seeing the picture hurt me. She understood why I was upset. She understood why I felt I deserved answered.

She understood why I needed to leave the situation as is; finished.

After I talked to my friend, I felt better and the what-if's ceased. They haven't come back and I'm glad. As my friend pointed out, calling him would have changed nothing about the situation. His mind is already made up. And so is mine. I need to move on because he apparently has. And if this chic isn't his girlfriend, it still won't change the situation.
--------
I discovered this today, on Facebook {I know, I'm an addict}, and this makes me happy.
Stay Sweet!

A Wonderful Time

Sorry I was vacant last week, but I was busy studying for midterms. I took the midterms on Saturday, so I'm praying I did well. Last week was also a little difficult because I didn't sleep well. I was restless, and I just couldn't get my body out of work mode. I slept very well the last few nights, and I hope good sleep continues. Perhaps being tired all the time, without the ability to get rested, is the most frustrating part of Fibromyalgia!
Prior to the breakup I was sleeping extremely well. And even though I'm still hurting, I really think I have finally entered into the healing process. I miss him a lot {which is to be expected}, but I'm starting to remember that single life is okay. I'll survive without the relationship. I may not like being single, but I'll survive. I still find myself wishing he'd call so I could hear his voice, but I don't cry anymore while wishing. I have some friends who suggest that I pick up and start dating again. I don't know if I'm ready for all that yet, but I have to remember that dating doesn't necessarily equal relationship…
                            ----------------------------
I celebrated my 29th birthday on Sunday, and it was wonderful. I'm so blessed to have many people in my life who love and appreciate me. It was nice being with my family.
I'm sorry this is such a short post, but I'm bombarded with school work, and I'm really struggling to stay awake. Pray for my strength because I'm ready to say good night and it's only 3:36pm!
Stay Sweet!

Weekend Rewind

I'm so proud to say that for the past three nights…NEHEMIAH HAS BEEN SLEEPING IN HIS OWN ROOM!!!! I'm praying that this accomplishment lasts this time. I have no problem admitting that I'm at fault just as much, if not more, to blame for this bedtime catastrophe. There have even been a few instances in which I have gone into his bedroom and carried him back to my room. Reason being, he's my security blanket…okay it's more like I'm a control freak and feel like I have more control over the unknown if Nehemiah is near me {I know, I need to relax}. Yes, I'm a believer and I know full well,
Psalm 4:8
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

However when my mind starts in on all the "what if's," I sometime let fear and worry overtake me. This is something I can promise you that I'm working on and of course praying about.

Friday night we had a special meeting at church in regards to some very important changes. A few months ago our beloved pastor went home to be with Jesus, and since then his son has taken over as our pastor. Although our new pastor is not an unknown face to our congregation, getting used to a new leader has become a challenge for me. The death of my pastor was difficult because he had been my pastor for literally my entire life! How do you just let go and automatically fall under the leadership of someone new?

On Friday we became aware of some changes that our new pastor wants to propose, and I just don't know if I can continue to roll with the punches. I love my church, and the members have really grown in faith and dedication to the Lord. We have one goal in common; to make it to Heaven some day. I am the youth leader and I'm also in charge of children's church, but I've been quite stagnant with my youth group responsibilities for various reasons. Now that I have more free time, I want to get back to my youth group duties.

However, I'm torn between staying at the church where I have been my whole life, compared to just packing up and going someplace new. Just like a job, every church will have their own set of unique problems, so I can't run to a new church and expect things to be perfect all the time. I would have to visit other churches in my town to determine where Nehemiah and I would go to worship, and frankly I'm not too keen on that idea. All I know is that I will not make a move without knowing full well that I'm doing what's best for Nehemiah and me. So until that day comes, I will continue seeking God for direction.

Saturday morning I woke up and did some cleaning and laundry. Now, I know most people don't get excited about cleaning and laundry but here's why this is so special. Cleaning used to exhaust me, and my body ached so bad that I just didn't have the stamina to get my house in order. Not to mention tackling the basement stairs while carrying a laundry basket was a nightmare for both my legs and my hands. I haven't carried a laundry basket down to the basement since the end of May {don't worry; my mom took care of the laundry for me because she's a great mommy!}. After the laundry was washed, I was even able to hang some of the clothes on the line so that they could dry outside {one of my efforts in making my household more Green}! I can't wait to tell my occupational therapist about this milestone.

Saturday evening Nehemiah, Raheem {my nephew, in case you forgot}, and I went to the MOPS {mothers of preschoolers} family picnic. My nephew, his girlfriend, and their three-month-old son {whom I just love to pieces} went too. The picnic was to kick off the new year of MOPS, and I wasn't too sure if I was going to attend after receiving the invitation. The MOPS chapter in my town meets at a local church, and I've heard great things about the program but wasn't sure if I wanted to attend. This was mainly because at the time I had so many time constraints, but now that my evenings are pretty open I decided to venture out and try something new. I also wasn't sure if the other parents would treat me differently because I'm a single parent. I only knew two women at the picnic, but I met some awesome mamas who were more than willing to welcome Miah and me. Child care is provided during the meetings, so Miah gets to come to the meetings with me! Meeting other moms is always a wonderful way to build a support network, so I really think this a great opportunity. The first meeting is in a few weeks, so I'll have to post some updates.

Sunday was wet, rainy, and a little cold {I smell fall in the air-and I'm a little excited}. We ate breakfast and then got ready to head out to church. We had an amazing church service, and my soul felt refreshed. When we got back home some of the family came over, so we spent the afternoon hanging out watching movies. Nehemiah and Raheem went outside for a little bit and managed to get mud all over their arms, legs, hands, and back! Then they both proceeded to walk into the house with the mud. I almost blew a gasket! Luckily the mud was more attracted to the boys than to my carpet! Needless to say, days like that remind me of the reason I only have one child! But just as my mom says, "boys will be boys." I say, "thank goodness for washer machines, soap, and water!"

Nehemiah had a rough afternoon, and by evening I had grown tired of the whining and crying. By dinner time I had exhausted myself with redirecting him that I handled a situation simply by giving him a kiss and telling him that I loved him. We both had a much better evening after that. Better, not perfect, but in those crazy moments you really learn how to pick your battles. My friend Lisa and her kids came over for dinner, so Nehemiah was happy to have some more buddies over and his behavior improved dramatically. He ended up falling asleep quite early, so I blame tiredness for his behavior.

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, and I hope you have an even better week!!!

Weekend Re-Cap

I will never understand how Monday manages to arrive so quickly each week, but here we are again. This weekend was very productive and I got a lot accomplished. On Saturday, I spent the day doing homework, and then we went to Lisa's for our Saturday night dinner. Yesterday, we went to church, and then I went grocery shopping. Grocery shopping is very difficult because my legs usually hurt, but yesterday my legs did fairly well; I thought. When I woke up this morning, my legs were feeling the strain of yesterday's trip to the grocery store. I feel rested (yayJ), so I am definitely making improvements. Hopefully my legs will get better as the day progresses.

Nehemiah had a great weekend as well. A couple of my nieces and nephews came over to play, so he had a lot of fun. Nehemiah finally started playing the drums again at church; he took a sabbatical because some of the other children ruined his drum set. I was going to get pictures of him playing, but I figured I would be drawing unwanted attention to myself. Nehemiah didn't take a nap yesterday, and he had a really hard time going down for bed last night. This morning he was whining and crying anytime he didn't get his way. When it was time for me to take him over to Nana's, he flipped out because he wanted to play outside in the snow. The snow is melting, so really he wanted to play in the mud. When he has such a rough morning, I feel awful leaving him. At least he gets some love and attention from Nana, so I know he will be okay. I think he and I will do something special when I get home.

Over the weekend, I did some research on running. As you know, I really want to start running. Now that spring is making its way to Western New York, I want to get outside just as much as Nehemiah wants to! I need to begin walking first, then gradually work my way into running. Now, here's my dilemma; will my legs prevent me from walking and running? I was determined to get outside and walk yesterday, but grocery shopping took a toll on me, so I couldn't get outside.

If my body prevents me from exercising, how am I ever supposed to reach my weight loss goals?

Have a Great Weekend

I have a ton of homework and studying to do this weekend, so I won't be posting on Saturday or Sunday. On Wednesday, I started my second class of the session and it looks like it's going to be challenging. So dear friends, have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine (if you're fortunate to have some). See ya Monday!

My Weekend

My weekend started on Friday and ended on Saturday for this week. This is because I woke up Friday and couldn't get out of bed. It looked like someone kicked me in both knees and stepped on my feet while they were at! I had the most horrible pain in my back, so bad that my mom didn't want to leave me alone! I'm blessed to say that the swelling is down and the pain is gone, so I'm working today to make up the missed day on Friday.

Yesterday was quite a busy day for us. In the morning Nehemiah had to go for his flu shot. He was a bit freaked out about getting a poke, but it did help that Raheem (my nephew) had to get one too. Nehemiah really started to freak out when I had to break the news to him that our regular nurse was no longer there (I found this news out when I was signing Miah in). However, our other trusty nurse was there, so all was good. The boys did awesome with the shots! No tears or screams. The nurse said she had experienced her fair share of freak outs when giving shots. For example, an 11 year old kicked a hole in the wall and had to have 2 people calm him down. Two thumbs up for my boys being soldiers!!!

In the afternoon I had to go to the mall in Rochester to find shoes. I can only wear shoes that have rubber soles or it throws my alignment off, which throws off my balance, which results in swollen knees and bad back pain. I wasn't sure how this trip was going to go seeing that Miah had just gotten a shot, but he was fine. My 7 year old niece spent the weekend with us, so he was happy to have someone in the back seat with him. Not to mention that my 15 and 18 year old nephews joined us (can you tell that my nieces and nephews love their aunt).

After going into about 4 stores and trying on countless pairs of shoes, I was frustrated that I could not find one pair of shoes that didn't hurt my feet. I decided to try one more store before heading back home. We went into Lands End and I found a cute pair of shoes with rubber soles that didn't hurt my feet and didn't look like old lady shoes! I'm quite happy with my purchase, not to mention how well behaved Nehemiah was in each store (maybe the french fries I got from the food court helped!)

Last night we went over to Lisa's for our usual Saturday night dinner. The kids were all playing when all of a sudden Nehemiah started screaming at the top of his lungs. I went to see what happened and it turned out that his finger got pinched in the door. It took a good 10 minutes to calm him down and to get ice on the finger. He was able to move his fingers and the swelling went down with the ice. He does have a blood blister on his nail bed that freaks him out whenever he looks at it. My poor little guy.

So this is the conclusion of my weekend. Oh, I did find Nehemiah a doctor costume for Halloween. He can't wait to go to the Big Top party at his school on Saturday. Also, I received the results from Miah's evaluation and the greatest news, his behavior is normal for a 2 year old! He does qualify for speech and will be starting next week.

The Good Book and Weekend

I finished reading The Poisonwood Bible and I have a whole new opinion on Africa! For those who enjoy an amazing read, I highly recommend this book. I was so wrapped up in the plot that I totally forgot that the characters were fictional! Now that's what I call a good book. I have 4 other books that I want to read, so I haven't decided yet which one will be next. All I know is that I'm going to have to buy another bookshelf when I move. Between my books and Miah's, we are filling up fast!
Tomorrow my mom and I are getting pedi's and doing a bit of shopping, which means I have the day off! Unfortunately, I have to go the OB/GYN in the morning, but that's part...a very unfair part- of womanhood I suppose. Next month is my one year celebration of hearing that I am cancer free. No Breast Cancer for me! I am a little freaked about my visit tomorrow, but so far all has been well, so I'm sure I will be just fine.

We are leaving for Ohio at the crack of dawn on Saturday, and I'm the driver (good thing for a borrowed GPS). We have a family reunion, which I'm so excited about! I haven't seen my mother's side of the family since my Grammy passed away in 2006. I am feeling a bit anxious about traveling 5 hours in the truck with a toddler!
Nehemiah is extremely excited about going on "baycation." Being the mom that I am, I know I'm going to overpack, but I guess it's better to have too much of something than not enough ie: clothes, pull-ups, toys, books.
I can't wait to post pics of our trip when we get back. Maybe one of my cousins will introduce me to a hot stud and I will be swept off my feet. A girl can hope right!

Weekend Re-Cap

Friday:

1.) Went to a new consignment shop, which happens to be just a few blocks away from my house. It's a bit small, but is filled with lots of nostalgia. I discovered an awesome ring for $5.00!

2.) Finished disc 1 for Gossip Girl season 1 (disc 2 should be here Tuesday). So glad Serena and Blair are friends. Hope they stay that way...be sure not to ruin it for me by giving it away!

Saturday:

1.) Worked at the 4H Fair for a few hours. Learned a lot about emergency preparedness. Hope everyone has an emergency kit at home and in the car! It's super important, especially if you have children or animals.

2.) Went to Lisa's for dinner.

Had great Riesling White wine and enjoyed some steak.

3.) Got the chance to watch Legally Blonde while Nehemiah played with Raheem, Jake and Claire.

4.)Finally got to talk to Nicole, who is now officially my Georgia Peach. Although she's only been gone a week, it feels much longer.

5.) Received the long awaited notice regarding my loans. This means that I will finally find out what type of Financial Aid package I will be receiving. I was getting a bit anxious because school starts in a month.

Sunday:

1.) Went to church. Nehemiah brought his drum with him and had a great time playing it during worship! He especially loved playing while I sang with the choir.

2.) I woke up not feeling too great, so Nehemiah and I napped together after church.

2.) Read some more of ...

It's such a great book (thanks for recommending it Nic). I'm hoping to finish it this week.

Not a lot of excitement over the weekend, but that was more than welcomed. It was nice to have the chance to rest; this coming up weekend we will be driving to Ohio for a family reunion.

My Weekend

1.) On Saturday I spent a few hours with a great sister in Christ. We prayed and shared on the goodness of Jesus. We also shared on our trials and some things we are facing. This relationship is a blessing to me because at the end of each conversation I feel stronger and I am reminded of the promises that God has for me.
Some times I forget to look back to where God has brought me from. It is not by my own strength that I am where I am today. I realized that I've made some compromises in my walk and I refuse to let it happen again. I cannot hide who I am or doubt what I believe. I am reminded of Peter, who denied Jesus when it counted the most. However, Peter was redeemed and forgiven as am I. I will continue to stress that, "As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord!" ~Joshua 24:14

2.)The weather was fabulous, so I took Nehemiah, Raheem (my nephew), and my two nieces Irisa and Ashanti to the carnival. It was expensive, but the kids loved it! We met up with some family and had a blast. Nehemiah and I got to wear our summer clothes and I finally shaved my legs!

3.) Yesterday we had Sunday dinner at my parent's house and it was great as usual. There's nothing better than spending time with family. I am so blessed.
